Recycled cotton / recycled polyester. Pouch / wash bag with zip closure in two sizes. This bag is part of the "K-loop" project. Through this project, Kimood closes the loop of the circular economy in the strictest sense. The cotton used comes from the manufacturing waste of Kariban brand cotton articles and the KARIBAN BRANDS range. The added polyester comes from the recycling of PET plastic bottles. During the recycling process, tracers are added to the yarn, namely viscose and ceramic filaments which act as a unique fingerprint. The tracers reflect light in a unique way, and therefore carry a unique and tamper-proof code. Thanks to this, all process information to which the yarn has been subjected can be stored on a blockchain in a unique way. Thanks to the Aware tracer technology and the corresponding blockchain platform, Kimood allows the end consumer to track the entire production process. This guarantees that the product has been recycled using its own waste, without possible alterations to the process. A special label with a QR code provides access to the Aware platform and allows certifications to be authenticated directly via a simple smartphone.
