Recycled cotton / recycled polyester. Pouch / toiletry case with two-way zipper in two sizes. This bag is part of the "K-loop" project. Through this project, Kimood closes the loop of the circular economy in the strict sense. The cotton used comes from manufacturing waste of Kariban brand cotton articles and the KARIBAN BRANDS range. The added polyester comes from recycling PET plastic bottles. During the recycling process, tracers are added to the yarn, namely viscose and ceramic filaments that serve as a unique digital fingerprint. The tracers reflect light in a unique way and therefore carry a unique and tamper-proof code. Through this, we can store all information of the processes the yarn has been subjected to in a blockchain in a unique way. Thanks to Aware™ tracer technology and the corresponding blockchain platform, Kimood allows the end consumer to track the entire production process. This makes it possible to guarantee that the product has been properly recycled using its own waste, without any possible alteration of the process. A special label with a QR code provides access to the Aware™ platform and allows direct authentication of certifications via a simple smartphone.
